Ambidextrous safety for all AK variants. A modified traditional selector is used on the right and the left lever is located near the top of the pistol grip.
This modification can be done to AK AKM & AKS receivers. For example we started with an Arsenal AK47(milled) receiver.

A slot is then milled for the left selector.
Top View
A slot is milled for the left selector.
The left selector attaches to the right selector.
The only permanent modification would be the slot in the receiver. A new ambi selector and grip must be purchased.
The ambi safety allows the shooter to engage the safety without removing both hands from the rifle.
The selector can also be moved to the fire position without removing both hands from the rifle.
Along with the ambi safety system LMG can take care of all of your AK needs.
A bottom rear tang side scope mount and magazine release were installed to complete this receiver.
This receiver is going to be used for a RPK build which will be posted when completed.
LMG plans on manufacturing a few different styles of ambi safeties including one that does not need a new grip or receiver modifications. If your AK has a side scope mount you may only be able to use the selector for the modified receiver. Pricing for the kits to come soon. Modifications to the receivers will still be T&M.

When are we looking at for this to be available and do you have the prices yet?
I was hoping to have it available last year BUT we can’t find anybody that will make the part in mass at an affordable cost. We have even approached Arsenal to see if they would sell us their version, which was shot down quickly. In short we are only doing custom runs until I can get the parts produced sorry.
