Arsenal SLR 106 CR converted to a SLR 106 UR

*tax stamp or permanently attached extended muzzle brake required

 

-Barrel cut to 8.5 inches, crowned

-New threaded gas block

-Rear sling mount removed to install butt stock

-Receiver machined for folding mechanism

-Front trunnion machined for front capture hook

-Able to touch up paint without total refinish

Must Sporters/Pre-Bans Have Welded On Thread Protectors Or No Threads At All.  The Weld Must Be Cut Or Barrel Threaded To Add A Muzzle Device.

Some Sporters/Pre-Bans Have A Cut In The Back Of The Receiver.  Cuts Like These Prevent You From Installing Actual AK Furniture.  This Cut Should Be Squared Off So You Can Install An Actual AK Butt Stock.

The Rear Of The Receiver Was Squared Off By TIG Welding A Section And Reinforcement Plate Onto The Sporter Receiver.  The Reinforcement Plate Also Strengthens The Rear While Shooting Without A Stock.  A Flush QD Mount Was Also Added Which Eliminates Permanent Sling Swivels.

So To Keep Cost Down A Polish Side Folding Stock Was Installed Which Can Be Used With An AKM Rear Trunnion.
