AK 47/74/Variants Ambi Safety
Ambidextrous safety for all AK variants. A modified traditional selector is used on the right and the left lever is located near the top of the pistol grip.
This modification can be done to AK AKM & AKS receivers. For example we started with an Arsenal AK47(milled) receiver.

A slot is then milled for the left selector.
Top View
A slot is milled for the left selector.
The left selector attaches to the right selector.
The only permanent modification would be the slot in the receiver. A new ambi selector and grip must be purchased.
The ambi safety allows the shooter to engage the safety without removing both hands from the rifle.
The selector can also be moved to the fire position without removing both hands from the rifle.
Along with the ambi safety system LMG can take care of all of your AK needs.
A bottom rear tang side scope mount and magazine release were installed to complete this receiver.
This receiver is going to be used for a RPK build which will be posted when completed.
LMG plans on manufacturing a few different styles of ambi safeties including one that does not need a new grip or receiver modifications. If your AK has a side scope mount you may only be able to use the selector for the modified receiver. Pricing for the kits to come soon. Modifications to the receivers will still be T&M.
Lowering The Glock Ejection Port For Scope Mounts
The ejection port is lowered .100″ to allow the casing to eject lowering clearing the scope mount.
The curvature of the factory ejection port is maintained
Once completed the cut is coated with black Cerakote or desired finish.

Cheaper Options For Mounting The Mosin Nagant
In the past if you wanted scope your Mosin-Nagant to resemble the 91/30 PU you had to spend $300 plus just for the scope and mount. Firefield now sells a scope & mount for less than $180. Tapping & pinning for additional charge.
The stock still must be milled for an additional charge.
The bolt must be extended for an additional charge.
The Firefield PU scope WILL NOT fit in an original mount. The mount screw and pin holes WILL fit an action already set up to accept a side mount.
Going with the side mount allows you to still use you iron sights.

Winchester 94 38-55WCF
With the gun laws changing in Ohio for hunting we have seen an increase of rifles chambered or converted to straight wall cartridges.
Winchester 94 30-30 barreled to 38-55. The 38-55 barrel was cut for a top eject so it had to be opened up for a side eject. The magazine tube and forearm were not supplied by the client.
